Second term reflection diary

 What progress have I made? 

•  I think I have really progressed and got more professional in terms of the editing process as I have managed to be able to use and edit with a variety of apps in a short period of 1 month. I feel I have become pretty confident in this field and aspect of the AS level process. 

What issues have I overcome?

• We have tried to overcome the COVID regulations by providing other proof of how our final piece was going to look as we were put in a position where we could not film because if we would, we would have been going against the Madrid's governments regulations and guidelines. 
• We have overcome weather issues and difficulties as I got stuck at a friends house due to the snowfall (Filomena) for a total of about 10 days and tried to keep in connect with my partner (Leonore) to keep up with the work and projects we wanted to do and the planning process for out final film opening. 
• Our protagonist got infected and we were not able to have her for about 15 days and that was also something we had to tackle and organise ourselves to catch up with the work which required her presence.

What have I learnt?

• I have learnt we need a lot of time to create professional and redrafted content 
• Besides, I have learnt that the meeting up together and being with my partner is crucial to create content both of us like and agree on because if not the communication is weak and things can get difficult to manage. 
• I have learned that the editing process is what takes the majority of our time because both me and my partner believe editing is our weakest point in media studies.
