Costume election

Today Leonore and me met with our protagonist and chose to film this mini runway video. I chose 3 different casual outfits and from those ones we analysed what each would represent and wanted to choose 2 final options which would suit a young adult woman in a daily basis, university situation. We wanted to represent the relaxed and Friday afternoon mood to the audience through her costume but also most importantly to symbolise her young adult age, femininity but also for her to stick to the trends of now a days. This would create a sense of identification (uses and grass theory) due to the trendy and teen-like clothes but also a sense of disruption and disequilibrium as we see a more vulnerable and weak image of the protagonist (portrayed as the princess in terms of props theory) in need of rescue when being chased/stalked by a dominant male villain character.
Finally, we chose the two best outfits and made a video of Patricia wearing it in order to then make a final decision. Here below is the link for the mini runway video and some behind the scenes photos I made of how we positioned and set up the light ring. I hope you like it!! :)
